Hmmm...maybe i'd say Jimi Hendrix - All Along The Watchtower
...but being a big 'Fleetwood Mac' fan id also say "Black Magic Woman" - Santana / Fleetwood Mac

Some more:

Emiliana Torrini - Sound Of Silence (Simon & Garfunkel)
Aimee Mann - The Scientist (Coldplay)
Ben Harper - Strawberry Fields Forever
Sister Hazel - Gold Dust Woman (Fleetwood Mac)
Paul Anka - Rock Swings (The whole album, various artists)
Spin Doctors - Have You Ever Seen The Rain (Bonnie Tyler)
Vanessa Carlton - Paint It Black (Rolling Stones)

I enjoy all the above, but not necessarily more than the original.

Dave

Default Covers.

Post some of your favourite (or least favourite) covers, or songs you think a certain band should cover.

I like Napalm Death's cover of Dead Kennedys' Nazi Punks Fuck Off and the Cap'n Jazz cover of Take on Me by A-Ha. I don't like the original though.

YouTube - Crazy Town - New Noise

^A truly horrible cover.

Bowie - Across the universe
Urge Overkill - Emmaline
Toy Dolls - Lazy Sunday Afternoon
Pearl Jam - I Got You
