There is'nt one. I grew up with metal, but i love so many genres now, that it is impossible to pick one. The best genre is your favourite IE different for most people.

Rock will rule the roost, as it's all encompassing. Blues should really beat the sh[i]t out of it though. No Blues, no Rock.
