Help, She Can't Swim! Really should be a screamo band, but yeah, great name. The Smiths was really clever too, for a band who wrote songs about everyday people and events. Biffy Clyro, cos I cant quite figure out what the fizzle it means. Depeche Mode, the fashion of rushing about...bit too arty for the band really. Echo and The Bunnymen, how cool is naming one of your instruments as a member of the band? Franz Ferdinand was clever, since the assination of him started WWI and all that.

But none can hope to better:

The Leather Nun. Well weird band.
Another favourite is Half Man Half Biscuit, always liked that one.
Along with a more obscure band from the 80's that went by the name of Men Without Bones...love the mental image that conjures up.
