Minus the Bear

Minus the Bear is Seattle based 5 piece. They mix all kinds of sounds into their music and have a very distinct sound. I cant think of one band I could use to compare them to. If you like good music, Minus the Bear should be in your Library. The music for the most part has a really upbeat feel that comes from the tone of effect of Dave's guitar. Minus the Bear is a band I can recommend to just about anyone. I think a lot of you guys on the boards would love them if you havent already heard them.

I love Minus the Bear... Planet of Ice is an excellent release and very original sounding. For those who don't know, their guitarist (Dave Knudson) was in Botch.

Not to me. Sure Blackest Eyes had that vibe to it, but the rest of the album quickly departs from that.
