Songs of Our Life (Queen, Incubus, Europe, Kayne West, quote)

I'm not sure if there is a thread already like this but here we go.

We all know that music affects our lives in many different ways. Music helps to create moods and also attaches itself to some of our favorite memories/situations whether good or bad. Love songs, Breakup Songs, Anniversary songs, graduation songs, wedding songs or anything similar of that nature. Essentially any song that has created a memory in your head. Once you hear it on the radio you immediately think of that occasion such as the summer of 94 or w/e.

The point of this thread is to list one song per post and tell a short story of how it has affected your life. For Example

Papa Roach - Roses On My Grave

Everytime I hear this song it's like a stab to my heart because it reminds me of how ****ty my love life is and that I'd love to find someone that would "put roses on my grave" I'd love to be with someone in a serious committed relationship. I guess I'm getting old because I feel like I'm ready to settle down for a long term relationship. I don't want to die alone.

Hey man take it easy on yourself. Don't expect to just fall into that situation so easily. That takes a long time for most people. Trust me i have had the same problom my entire life also, trying to find the right person Just cheer up and enjoy the search.

Well i have a few songs. My favorite though at the moment is Wish You Were Here by Incubus. Reminds me of someone i miss a REAL lot but can't see, probably forever. Kinda angering and sad but the song touches me so much.

European Championships 1996 , England in the Semi Final vs Germany.
Me in a pub with about 40 mates watching it. DJ put this song on seconds after England lost the penalty shootout.

had enough by breaking benjamin pretty much reminds me of any bullshit ive had to deal with in regards to exes, friend disputes, parents, blahblahblah regular teenage angsty shit

geek in the pink by jason mraz is like my theme song, as retarded as it sounds. its basically a song about not giving a rats ass what people say & that if someone disses on you for some stupid shallow reason then theyre the people that are missing out. i pretty much live by that since the only people that dont like me are the ones that havent taken the time to get to know me instead of not paying any attention to me because im loud & obnoxious or because im not your typical beauty queen

o valencia by the decemberists is EXACTLY like my current love life. everyone either is or will be against me & my current boyfriend being together, for various reasons & im pretty sure many people will be pissed off & not want anything to do with me once i move in with him but that song (minus the whole girl getting murdered part) is really about just going against what everybody else says you should or shouldnt do in regards to relationships. i love him more than ive ever loved anyone in my life so i really dont care what anybody has to say about him or our relationship

go to bars? pfft.....I'm over that whole phase....I'll go there occasionally but just to have conversation with some drunk people....I don't go there looking for eligible mates

Back in september.....my theme song was the good life by kayne west because things were finally starting to look up for me and I was on the rise out of a long depression spell I had
