Cool as, let us know what you thought of it. There are a lot of highlights like 'Ramona Was A Waitress', 'Fast Friends' and 'Bird In A Basement' but some other good ones are 'Man Of The Moment' and 'Out Of The Airlock'

DISTANToblivion, the Paul Dempsey album was bloody fantastic! I've only listened through it onjce so my obser vations are fairly impressionistic at this stage.... but man! Great recording with some amazing melodies and lyrics...

I was suprised by hnow un - Something for Kate ish it can be in parts, yet it' no less inventive / creative than Dempsey's work with his band.

If anything it feels a little more laid back than the intensity of a SFK album.... there's a little more stripping back in the sound, in some places jits just very simle accoustic guitar + vocals... which I've always loved with Dempsey. The album's closer is a definite highlight and a great high note on which to conclude an album....
