It is almost unclassifiable, and it is absolutely amazing!

I've really been digging this album "Under The Whale" by a New York band called The Beach Arabs. You can listen to almost all of it on their bandcamp. They also have a small EP out, but Under The Whale is their first and only album. Tell me what you guys think.

I've been really into some Crust-punk and hardcore punk lately and these are some of the albums I've really been digging:

Unkind - Yhteiskunnan pikkuvikoja

This is some really great finnish crust-punk with omnious dark sound. The album has some dark acoustic songs also which makes the album quite special. I'm seeing these guys in august.

Psykoanalyysi - Kivitys EP

Psykoanalyysi - Vitutus EP

Psykoanalyysi is perhaps my favorite punk band. They are a couple of young pissed off guys from Finland and they write short hardcore/crust songs about the things that piss them off (mainly politics)

M:40 - Historiens Svarta Vingslag

M:40 is a crust/hardcore-band situated in Lidköping, Sweden. Really great stuff <3

actually have been for some time, it's slightly inferior to Spirit of Eden compositionally, but there's an air of despair and melancholy about it that I find quite appealing

I find it better than SoE personally, top 5 of the 90's for me.

I rank it third, 1st being "Spiderland" by Slint and second being "Cure for Pain" by Morphine.
