Wreck & Reference Youth

This band is one of the best at making haunting, disturbing, vicious black metal, post-punk, & industrial noise. Normally the combination of those genres tend to get butchered when tried all at once, but as far as I can tell Wreck & Reference have this shit down packed.

Preoccupations - Self-Titled

At first, not a big fan whatsoever. The same can be said for Viet Kong, but I always end up coming back to records that at first don't appeal to me and then end up loving them. I love the post-punk, doomy vibe to this record and the sort of hazy mixing. Solid stuff.
