Oh George is great. He and John are definitly tied for favorite beatle, but he wasn't really a part of that huge songwriting team Lennon/McCartney where it is blatantly obvious who wrote which songs. George did write some of my fav Beatles songs, Something, While My Guitar..

Yeah, Manson was a big White Album fan lol.

because thats the title of the charles manson movie. He based his killings off of Beatles songs that he mistook as instructions to him.

In fact. Paul McCartney plays a mean lead guitar on TAXMAN.

I have All Things Must Pass, wonderful, cultish, hare krishna- religious stuff. Great album. It's very obvious that Elliott Smith was heavily influenced by George's solo stuff. All the way down to the method of recording the vocals he took from George.
