well, it's kinda moronic to sit here and try to judge who the worst band on earth is too, isn't it? i bet there are hundreds of bands worse than nickelback. we're just going with what we know. even if we're not all elite musical geniuses like crowquill. this whole thread is a place for people to state their opinions, right or wrong. and while you think i'm ignorant, i have at least one person here who agrees with me. so it's not that crazy.

I'm pretty sure I have no idea about I Set My Friends on Fire, but my idea of screamo was pretty close to what was on that YouTube clip. So I can honestly say, I still don't like it.

Hmmm, I honestly don't know that many..theres From a Second Story Window...and some other's that my friends little sister listens to that I don't know the name of.

If I've only heard it a few times and haven't liked it so far, why would I investigate it any further?

well, that video fits like a glove into what my perception of screamo is and why i hate it. i'm sorry i used a bad example, but without it you have no argument. screamo is terrible, terrible music IN MY OPINION (<--- key words capitolized). i just read a little on allmusic.. it lists Hawthorne Heights, atreyu and taking back sunday as screamo bands. i should have used them instead. especially hawthorne heights, they are the basis for my dislike

Please explain to me how Atreyu, a band that sounds like a throwback from the 80s hair metal craze, sound like Taking Back Sunday, a band with absolutely no screaming that create simple pop songs with simple pop structures with simple power chords, sound like Hawthorne Heights, taking back sunday with screaming a more distortion, sound like Circle Takes the Square who combine the build/climax style of post-rock with the chaotic feel of hardcore. I'm interested to hear the connection between all these bands that makes them the same genre since obviously you totally knwo what you're talking about.

From a Second Story Window is a metal band, Second Story Window is a screamo band. Before you copy from the screamo education thread make sure you read it a little bit closer next time.
