I should point out at this point that The Fall recorded a ballet complete with a cover of Jerusalem.

Ahh.

I tend to forget which ELP songs are covers and which are not.

I would just like to say that I think Avenged Sevenfold has to be one of the worst bands ever.....anyone hear about them walking off the stage during their first song this past weekend at a show in Texas?? Supposedly they became lil divas and decided to not play afterall.....at least those Texans didn't have to sit through a whole set of crappy music! lol

I've hated Scissor Sisters since that godawful cover of Comfortably Numb.

I would say that I do like that song they did with Tom Waits but it would probably be more accurate if I said that i`d like it much more if the bass player would just shut the f*ck up.
Which I guess is missing the point somewhat with that band.

theres no such thing as the worst band. its like an ebbing and flowing of the tide. 'look out, her comes a wave of bad bands' "oh look, now they're retreating and leaving some good bands behind"

the problem isn't the quality of bands. its the quantity of hype behind them.
