Emo is a genre of music, not a type of person.

emo is definitely a way to describe someone as a person who has "too much sand in his/her vagina"

Emo is a form of hardcore: See Moss Icon, Rites of Spring, Grey Matter, Embrace etc. Emo is not a person.

But I've heard people use other genre names to describe people..."rapper", "rocker". But since "emo" sounds better than "emoer", can't we just say that?

Most kids who claim to listen to emo don't even listen to real emo.

Well sure, because apparently nobody really knows what emo is. I think we all need to go read the emo education thread now... :P
