So, I've filtered through my iPod, listening to the same songs time after time, and to be perfectly frank, theyre starting to bore me. But, I dont want to waste my time jumping through artist after artist to hope to find a sound that I like. I'm new to the forum, and I'm not sure if this is where something like this goes, but I was wondering if anyone would have any suggestions. I really like Modest Mouse, some Ska, like the Aquabats and Mighty Mighty Bosstones. I also like a group called Man on Earth, idk if anyone has heard of them. I'm also really into some music from videogames, especially stuff like you'd find in the Halo soundtracks and pieces by Nobuo Uematsu, the composer for the Final Fantasy games. If you guys have any suggestions or know artists who sound similar to this, let me know plz. Thanks a bunch!

Just take a look in each section and you will find a multitude of threads with bands similar to what you are after.
