Personally OK Computer does it for me. However, Kid A is rather good, and There There is amazing, but the rest on Hail To Thief doesn't really compare. Pablo Honey is a load of crap, it doesn't sound like Radiohead, and Creep is the only half-decent song on it. You may even consider Amnesiac, because that is also a very good album... Damn. 'Tis too hard to choose! Just buy 'em all... ^_^

The Bends was my first Radiohead album. Later, I bought some other records and discovered something.

The Bends is so un-Radiohead-like. It's a great album, don't get me wrong. But the overall sound is so conventional that they can actually be related to Coldplay. OK Computer, Kid A, Hail to the Thief...Those albums are so electronically-driven and so experimental. It's just so...Different. Personally, I love it. I think The Bends is a good introductory album to Radiohead, but after you venture past that, you either like them or you don't. That's just a quality Radiohead has.

I would recommend 1997's "OK Computer". Definitely.
There's "Paranoid Android", "Subterranean Homesick Alien" and "Karma Police" on it.
