also, i think yourke is a great lyricist and vocalist. if you look in rolling stone, he is rated 66th in the top 100 singers of all time. and johnny greenwood is a great guitarist. yes he does use a lot of effects, but that doesnt make him bad at all. and no, their other guitarist is not on House.
1.Rolling Stone is crap and do you really trust a magazine that had Kurt Cobain in a list of the top 20 of the greatest guitar players of all time?
2.I'm pretty sure he is

So you only trust them when they praise a band you enjoy?

I don't trust Rollingstone... not when you see them hype utter garbage as great music... they're all about selling copies of cheap rag to the kids who wanna read about the "cool guys"..very similar to stupid teen rags these days...

Rolling Stone is kind of crappy because they are prejudiced towards the "rock" canon of classics and give high ratings to bad albums by respected older rock bands (see: their review of new albums by U2 and Green Day). That said, I do find their reviews to be very concise, readable, and actually descriptive of the music (unlike, say, Pitchfork). They aren't great but I don't think they're as bad as some people say.
