I know others swell about these artists but I just can't see the attraction of these bands/artists

Smiths/Morrissey
Pearl Jam
Elvis Costello
U2
Joy Division/New Order
Guns N' Roses
Bruce Springsteen

Your opinion. Lyrics don't mean much if the music sucks. Besides lyrics is half of what a good song is. Except for instrumentals.
