Joy Division- Shadowplay

The Killers- Shadowplay

the killers did a good cover and made it danceable, but it can't hold a candle to the orignal.

The cover of Losing Touch With My Mind(Spacemen 3) by The Icarus Line is probably one of my favorite songs....here you decide which version is better
Losing Touch With My Mind (Spacemen 3)- The Icarus Line

That Motley Crue cover of Anarchy is hillariously bad.

And the Flinstones one is just.

Oh and that Radiohead cover of The Headmaster Ritual is pretty ace, thats just might be my favorite Smiths song.

Wtf? How is the original not personal? If anything, it's far more personal than Cash's cover simply because Trent, you know, wrote it.

Really? I remember seeing the video and thinking it one of the worst covers I'd ever heard. I mean, I s'pose you have to give them credit for at least putting a new spin on the song (as opposed to just trying to make it sound like a carbon copy of the original), but the spin they did put on it was ****ing atrocious.

Don't think I need to post the original, seeing as everyone and their ****ing dog has heard it at least three hundred times. Awesome cover though. I like it more than the original.

...then again, I don't care much for the original.

I prefer the original. I don't tire of songs very easly, regardless of how much they are overplayed, a great song is always a great song IMO.

But man I really loved how he did the solo with the horn section, thats pretty cool.
