Yeah, I almost forget the logic of you guys, constant overexposure to something from childhood makes it automatically horrible. Don't you ever think that with all the stuff you listen to now, you might hate it 10 years later?

I like The Smiths. And even putting aside how much of a prick Morrissey is and the fact Johnny Marr is now a member of my least favorite band of all time. I think they are extremely overrated, not just from the music press but from the Indie sub-culture as a whole.

I have no problem with people not liking Tool, I have a problem with people being huge pricks to those that do.

Just like how you're a prick to me for liking Led Zeppelin, and if I didn't think of Indie kids as being arrogant pricks, I wouldn't be on my soap box about them all time.

Marr is a very good guitarist, but Morrisseys vocals are hit and miss with me, sometimes he just sounds like a pompous prick.

One Smiths song I can't stand is Meat is Murder (though I love the rest of the album), not only because its a shameless piece of propaganda but the lyrics are just incredibly stupid.

I don't really see many examples of "indie ***s being arrogant pricks" around here. I mean I only started bashing Led Zeppelin because you wouldn't shut up about Modest Mouse. It seems like you jump on your soapbox for no reason other than jumping on it.

And when I stopped mentioned Modest Mouse, you never stopped mentioning Zep. I couldn't even f*cking mention them without you being a troll, thats why I tried to get your mod status removed once.

And I started the MM hate train because I was fustrated with the attitude of several people on this forum crapping on me for my taste. So I randomly picked out one band I knew you guys liked that I couldn't stand and and decided I would be a prick to anyone that likes them as a form of retaliation. Yeah, its dumb, but thats where the MM thing originated from, I actually started doing it on DDD before I started doing it here.
