This is all about preference right? If so then it shouldn't matter at all how many votes a band gets, some people like music you don't like, get the f*ck over it.

However if the point of this whole thing is choosing the most talented artist, then Black Flag so don't deserve to win this.

Black Flag were original, but its not like what they did took a lot of effort, I mean even by punk standards, you take a very loud simple riff, have a guy screaming teen angst poetry, crappy guitar solo, more screaming. Wash, rinse, repeat

Compare that to Led Zeppelin, who were excellent musicians, had a sound that was very fresh and different for rock music at the time and had a massive (if sometimes polarizing) impact on rock music since the early 70s. If we're trying to be "objective" here then we failed, this is all about preference, because I don't care how much you hate zep, there is no way in hell Black Flag are better than Led Zeppelin.

And then theres Johnny Cash, the mere suggestion that Black Flag are better is not only absurd, its insulting and completely insane.
