Yeah that's right, I'm going to go from 2007 backwards. Get ready bitches.
10. The Raveonettes "Lust Lust Lust (2007)" ![]() Less Ronettes, more Jesus and Mary Chain. I'm saddened by the lack of attention this received but considering how (not so) good Pretty in Black was I can understand it, sort of. Check it out and while you're listening to them look at how amazing their influences are. The Smiths, The Clash, The Cramps, My Bloody Valentine, Jesus and Mary Chain, Sonic Youth, Bob Dylan, Primal Scream, The Velvet Underground, David Bowie, Suicide, Atari Teenage Riot, etc. Where I'm going with this is uh you can't go wrong raiding their mixed tapes. Wow, epic.
Is there going to be any limit to this? Are you going to be reviewing 13th century medieval folk music?

9. Säkert! "Säkert! (2007)"
![]() This album took me awhile to get into. It's Hello Saferide's Anika but singing in her native Swedish tongue which I could tolerate because she had such a fantastic cutesy twee sound but a huge part of the charm of Hello Saferide was lines like "Damn I wish I was a lesbian / So I could fall in love with you." so what do I do when I can no longer hear such shakespearian verses? Open freetranslator? No! I try and enjoy it anyway D: And after playing Introducing...Hello Saferide to death I came to enjoy it anyway. Fun story I know. Favorite Song: Vi kommer att dö samtidigt MySpace.com - Säkert! - SE - Pop / Hawaiian / Healing & EasyListening - www.myspace.com/sakert
