Default What kind of modern music can dramatic tenor sing?

I am dramatic tenor with very powerfull voice and I am interested to sing some modern music but I do not have idea what kind. Of course a would like to sing with my dramatic type of voice. I would like to find kind of music except opera where dramatic tenor fits.

Thanks folks. I forgot to mention that I would like to keep that operetic voice I have but to put it in not opera singing. I would not like to destroy my voice buy screaming in some screaming band.

Power metal can be very operatic at times. Annoying too but usually operatic.

Well, I don't think there's too much room for a tenor in rock, but there could be in metal which tends to welcome over the top vocal performances. Especially in power/symphonic metal.


Heavy metal like Maiden - I believe Dickinson is a dramatic tenor.


Power metal like Angra


Symphonic metal like Therion


Avant-garde metal like Arcturus (more baritone than tenor, I know)


More power metal like Rhapsody (very cheesy)
