Too much music to just pick out a select few songs. But bands that are real pick me ups for me are The Who, Yes, The Beatles, P-Funk, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, funky RHCP, Super Furry Animals, Blur, Ramones and without a shadow of the doubt, Queen.

So people try to make up words and throw it around to describe only music they don't like. These words seriously need to die, because they don't describe the music at all.
