Hello all,

I am putting together a video for a friend of there vaction pictures, can anyone recommend a song? Two options I liked but have already used are Greenday - Good Riddance and 10,000 Maniacs - These Are The Days.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Byam

"Dispatch - The General" would be pretty cool.

Default Recommendations for "beautiful" metal music?

Hey dudes, first post. Ive been meaning to join a music blog for ages as i'm pretty much a music addict. As the thread title suggests i'm looking for some or any recommendations of bands or even song titles that you could categorise as beautiful metal, it can be any kind of metal or rock. I'm kinda looking for the next big band in my life and this idea was inspired by a few killswitch engage songs. To give you an idea of what im looking for here are a few of the tracks i really liked:

The arms of sorrow
My curse
The element of one
The end of heartache...kind of

But also know that i dont like the rest of their songs! I think they have the capacity and potential to be such a great band but they just dont do it. Anyway i'm sure there's someone here that knows their stuff and can help. Sorry for the essay. Any help is mondo appreciated! Thx

Opeth should do the trick for sure.
