i think he means that some of your music isn't up to Comus standards.

your Clannad obsession is puzzling, anyways.

Well there's also Can and John Zorn.

I guess it was just Beefheart. But from my experience fans of Beefheart tend to also be fans of Can, Zorn, Branca, Public Image Ltd and John Cage.

I have a rather hostile relationship with avant garde fans as they tend to be rather harsh on prog. I guess I'm guilty of judging you from a few preconceived notions.

But either way, Beefheart is pretty much the musical equalvilent of Duchamp's Fountain as far as I'm concerned.

What bands are you referring to exactly? And I have been known to like some indie myself.

And holy **** shiseido_red/lateralus is back in action :O

Yeah I have a bit of an odd taste in music, when I put my winamp on random you get some really strange mixes, some hip hop here, trip hop song next, then followed up by 20 minutes of death country and an hour of country.

Muse, Buckley, SOAD, Weezer, TMV and Zeppelin in particular.

If indie kids have it out for every artist I've ever listened to besides Radiohead and The Smiths, then screw indie kids :P

Seriously though, of Montreal <3

Well on second thought you do like Mastodon.

And I have no idea why indie kids love Mastodon so much. I'm still trying to figure that one out.

that's some of the music i listen to, it doesn't really encompass most of what i actually like. i don't mind people criticizing me, i just didn't understand how you made the connection to dadaism, considering most of the music i listen to is stuff like Meat Puppets & Dinosaur Jr.

that being said i really fuckin love Beefheart.
