2 songs that spring to mind that i`ve heard over the past few months

Fall Out Boy deserve to be sent to Guantanamo bay for what they did to Joy Divisions Love Will Tear Us Apart.

And i`d also like to remove the testicles from the members of the Get Up Kids , seeing as thats what they did to the Cure`s Close To You

Yeh i agree fully about peoples comments on joss stone- she fkd that song and i dont like the missy higginns cover of the skyhooks "you just like me caus im good i bed" and unless my hearing is shot she doesnt even put in the part about giving good head so yeh that sux.

That and she did Hurt on a Johnny Cash tribute. I dont think she realized who originally wrote that song.

All the covers you guys mentioned are pretty bad. There's plenty more. All the bands who try and do covers of Cure and Pixies songs end up sounding horrible ( I take that back, cause PJ Harvey did Monkey Gone To Heaven, that was good). Me First and The Gimme Gimme's shouldn't make money. All the covers Marilyn Manson did- horrible (meh, Sweet Dreams still better than the rest). Tori Amos doing Eminem's 97 Bonnie and Clyde- ewww. Still, the rest of that album was genius.
I'm more than disgusted with local bands in my area doing covers of Dave Matthews Band and Sublime over and over and over and over again. How do people listen to the same played-out songs for ten years straight?
