very rarely if not ever have i seen the who mentioned. so what do you guys think of them?! personally, im a big fan and tommy sits up alongside OK computer and led zeppelin I in my collection.

Aah back in the day, when bands were proud of selling out. Calling a song 'heinz baked beans' was bound to win some of us over. I think people think of Tommy as better because of tracks such as Pinball Wizard, Underture and Sparks. The Who Sell Out is a much better album.

yes the who is great and all, but it became less and less surprising everytime they would smash they're instruments....but I guess that was just them...talkin' bout my g-g-g-e--n-erat--ion....

My Mates band www.mrnorthmusic.com supported The Who last year, said it was one of the best days of his life.........there still rockin it 40yrs on
