It's the soundtrack to an Italian beer commercial (Pirroni ?) and it kicks the arse out of The Beatles version.

There's also a version by Elvis Costello and Nick lowe that's sweet.

People will think this sacriligious, but Roddy Frame (from Aztec Camera ) does an acoustic version of the Beatle's In My Life that is, indeed, better than the original.
And In My Life is my most favourite song, so that's saying something!

Actually, Tainted Love was originally a soul number,done in 1964 by Gloria Jones- and it's the best version by far...sounds a bit like Rescue Me by Fontella Bass, but way better.
