Most Country And Western-there may be a few odd tracks I like-some Steve earle and Jonny Cash's American iv has some great covers, but I just can't stand it.

Female warblers-Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston etc-annoys the bejusus out of me.

Opera-it just absolutely grates.

Chinga chinga indie-Travis, The libertines etc-boring and goes nowhere.

Commercial rap-my son is into it god knows why, I have always played good stuff around him (I guess it's a rebellion thing)

Most metal excluding Thrash and Post Metal

British Indie pop

Any scene bands

Most dance

"Moshcore" - Hatebreed, Throwdown, Icepick etc

A general dislike of mainstream music pop, rnb, rap etc.

This is a horrible thread.

It might as well be called the "write off all the genres of music you don't listen to" thread.

Rap/Rock nu-metal garbage is probably the only genre of music I outright hate.

Though I am of the mindset that every type of music has it's own credibility and should be judged by it's own standards, I am really not a fan of Death Metal.

i've expanded my horizons
to appreciate all types of music.
after all, music is the greatest form of expression,
and who isn't in favor of expressing yourself?

oh yeah, and btw, emo music blows.

Strangely enough I agree with both of these posts. Personally, as hard as I try I cannot find any country that I enjoy. And any sort of metal that only features screaming or growling for vocals just grinds my nerves.
