its all about personal taste.. i mean i don't like rap because of what it is today.. my ear's can't handle it.. but i used to like the old school stuff and still kind of do... no wait.. i don't but i'd rather listen to that then the new stuff.. when it comes to mainstream rap that is..

and i like faith hill.. she's conutry but thats about all i like..

i respect classical music greatly.. but not made for my listening.. my ears again don't like it..

and yes i agree in every genre does have its share of its ****ty bands.. and writers..

I don't respect Gangsta Rap. I can't respect what it's done for young kids over the world who think it's cool to have a stash of hoes, cash and guns ready to out pimp the next homie. It's just not how music should be used.

There are some other minor styles of music but gangsta is the worst for me right now.

Im sure there are some decent power metal bands out there, but yeah its probably my least favorite genre also, as well as hair metal and nu metal...Im sure all these genres have their good bands, but the majority is nothing but mediocrity IMHO.

Those living in my country know about something that's really BAD: Manele. Some stupid lyrics, bad music and idiots playing it. The problem is that this genre is quite enjoyed by many of my country men ..
