I didn't do very good this weekend. Ordered a copy of RKL Rock n Roll Nightmare. And bought an Iron Maiden picture disc of Trooper.

Just like this one. Had it marked down to 9.99. I've seen them as high as 60 bucks.

Interesting. So you got the original 80s press? Cause there was also a re-release Trooper picture vinyl a few years ago with, i think, Murders in the Rue Morgue live on the flip.

Yeah it was the original press. There must have been a mistake in pricing it, because i've only seen them used for generally a 50 dollar price range. I've seen the re-release readily available everywhere. This one had the original red price tag marked as 59.99, only reason i even looked at it to begin with. I also saw the Maiden picture disc with the submarine on it, but i had to step up on rock n roll nightmare instead.

So am I the only one that thought the Pumpkins' remastered Pisces Iscariot was coming out on Record Store Day? I was kinda looking forward to that.

I did get this on vinyl, though:

Destroyer - Kaputt

Freaking love this album.

The live one? I saw it, but didn't get it as I'd rather have a forreal album on vinyl. But it wasn't selling, so I may go back for it.

Sounds like a good find! I wish i could find mistakes or uneducated sellers on some of the 60s psych/garage LPs id love to own. Id be looking at around £200 for some of those, on the rare occasion i find one for sale! I have the Trooper re-release picture that i bought cause it was cool, and for the push to have it chart.

Had a nice pick up on record store day this year.

Elliott Smith - Either/Or Alternate's
Phosphorescent: Aw Come Aw Wry Re-Release
Owen - The Seaside EP re-release.

My record store didn't have the Their/They're/There EP I really wanted in stock, but I'm happy.

Success.

Against Me! - Reinventing Axl Rose (for nostalgic reasons)
Atmosphere - When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That **** Gold (because I need it in my collection)
Robert Johnson - King of the Delta Blues Singers (because Robert Johnson)

Plus they had a new style of shirt which I needed to own.
