Do any of you guys or girls collect records? By records I mean like ACTUAL records; 12", 7", etc? I recently started buying some records because I just got myself a record player. A LOT of these were expiremental purchases, meaning I had no clue what these bands sounded like, but my dad/the dude selling the records said to check 'em out..
Dont make fun of me for some of these Here is my little collection:The Clash - Combat Rock Rancid - ...And out come the wolves - PIC DISK Ramones - Too Tough to Die V/A - Old Skars and Upstarts - Clear Red Vinyl Assorted Jelly Beans - www.y2ktheory.ep.a.j.b..com SueSadd and the Next - S/T I guess ..pretty lame music... Shakin' Street - Also S/T ..something like the Donnas ..It's OKAY.. INXS - Kicks - sucky Sweet - Desolation Boulevard Bachman-Turner Overdrive - Four Wheel Drive Led Zeppelin - I guess S/T ..it doesnt even have Led Zeppelin anywhere on the record sleeve or a track listing or anything. It's the one with Stairway to Heaven Led Zeppelin - Not sure what it's called either ..released in 1969 Belfegore - S/T ..Something along the lines of Billy Idol 38 Special - Wild-Eyed Southern Boys Super Rock - OLD rock ..kind of lame The Kinks - Give the People What they Want So that's all of 'em.. I'm working on getting more. I get a lot of ones I've never heard cause they are only like a dollar, maybe I'll find some band I really like sometime..

Everyone has music in them. Only the talented have the ability to share it with the rest of the world. Here's a thought; let's stop labeling music and fighting over what genre a certain band is, and start listening to whatever pleases our ears no matter what anyone thinks of it! ;)

I'm in Windsor right now and I was checking out my Grandma's record player, she must have like 150 records in there too.
My mom had a lot and the record player and everything with it is being left to me... She had: Lots of classical for my grandma The Clash: Combat Rock, The Clash Men At Work: Some record U2: War The Cars: Some record The Ramones: The Ramones The Sex Pistols: God Save the Queen Tom Petty and The Hearbreakers Baycity Boys or something? The Pointer Sisters Motley Crue: Shout At The Devil ABBA: Greatest Hits, Volume 2 Billy Squier She had loads more I just forgot the majority It was a magical experience to hear the Sex Pistols on a record though. |

My dad found a whole box of punk singles somewhere when I was about 7 years old.
It even had the original God Save The Queen 7" in it Me not knowing how much it would be worth took it to a BBQ at a friends house & it warped in the sun ![]() |
