What? I hate to belittle peoples music tastes full on but that is one of the most ridiculous statements I have ever heard on here.

Chill out, people. It's rolling stone, what do you expect? It's an American publication founded on rock and pop music, of course the list will consist of nothing but rock and pop music.

There's no doubting Ten made an impact.

Sadly 99.9999999% of that impact was at the shittier end of the music spectrum.

Nevermind and its cheesy production? No thanks, that's corporate rock.

The other four records are really unknown.

Of course they are because you don't know them and it's not even a great list by myself but it was a quick list off the top of my head and yet it still contains albums that are influential.

Chill out, jans. I wasn't insinuating that anyone literally wasn't chill. It was more of a figure of speech to express that nobody should expect anything different from rolling stone

NWA - Straight Outta Compton

Considering today's mainstream musical climate, I think this album's influence has outlasted Ten.
