Best books that reference bands
I like reading and music and it's great when the 2 combine. My fave 2 books with music references are London Bone (Michael Moor****) and You Are Here (Steve Horsfall). What are yours?

Skarrs. I dunno if anyone else has read that? Its by Catherine Forde, tis a good read...
The band might not have been real, but it all seemed real... She really captured the music in words, it was great.

I started reading 'paranoid' by Tim Hall i think his name is, he used to be Black Sabbaths PR, and he tells the story of when he was younger, and his drug habbits etc etc...basically just a life of 'sex, drugs and Rock 'n' Roll'

Other than Guinnes World Records British Hit Singles And Albums...
The Clash:Return of the Last Gang in Town by Marcus Gray-it is an excellent documentation of the lives of all the members of The Clash and the rise and fall of the band. The guy who wrote it must have been a pretty big fan of them as it is really well researched with no detail missed.
