Lightbulb Who's your favorite?

Hey people.
I'm working on a project and I'd like to know from you bunch of obviously very attractive people what your favorite music genre is.

And your general opinion on radio/television music.

And your favorite artist (e.g. Benny Benassi) OR band (e.g. Slipknot) OR composer (e.g. Hans Zimmer), or all of the above, if you feel like typing.

Leave your gender as well while you tell everyone who's best. Thanks!

My favorite genre is 70s Funk (P-Funk, R&B/Soul).

Radio and TV is defiantly all mainstream as usual. I do like the AXS channel though, I was watching some of the best of current cover bands last nite.

Walter Becker and Donald Fagen are my favorite songwriting duo. (Steely Dan)

My favorite genre is rock, especially from the 60s-70s.

Radio channels play a lot of different things, so I can't build up an opinion. Most of them play crap, though.

I'd say my favouite band is Queen, and my favorite solo artist is Elton John.

Especially appreciative of electronic music. For example, GroundisLava is one artist I find exemplary, since he is not in any sort of conventional electronic music. Seriously, his songs are extremely reminiscent of 90's videogame music.

Favorite music genre(s) are surf instrumental, Afro-funk/African music, power pop/punk pop, electronic and alt-country/Americana.

Don't listen to radio anymore and only rarely listen to cable music tv stations. Prefer listening to my own cds/lps over radio/tv music stations.

I suppose Bevis Frond is my favorite artist- or maybe favorite artist who who has consistently released quality material over the longest amount of time. I'd also list Nick "Bevis Frond" Saloman as my favorite composer.

My favorite genre is Progressive Rock.
My favorite band is Sparks.
My favorite artist is Frank Zappa.
My favorite composer is Igor Stravinsky.

Eh, I don't listen to that much radio. Even then, the most I'll listen to are sometimes classic rock stations in small doses.
