Default New member with a question :)

Hi guys. I'm new to this forum and found it by googling music forums. I'm 12 years old, and I love to sing. I just recorded a song for fun and want people to listen to it and give suggestions. I don't do it commercially or for money, it's just a fun thing I like to do.

Can someone tell me where I can post it. I don't want to break any rules.

Also, I look forward to becoming an active member of the community.

Become an established member on the forum and then you can showcase your music, otherwise I would advise to you find another avenue that facilitates your needs.

Ah. Maybe you are right. I was looking through the forum and it looks like it's all based on "popular" musicians and music. My bad.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it says 13 or 14 on the registration page but I cant remember. But it's the internet, people lie about their ages.

I think that most websites have 13 as the minimum age for legal reasons (or request the parents of children under 12 to confirm that they allow their children to be there). A lot of sites don't monitor stuff like PMs so I imagine they don't want to be held responsible if a pedo tries to prey on kids that way.

It's only a year so someone who is 12 can just wait... or they can find educational forums for kids who write, or get their parents to post their songs on YouTube or something.
