rad. never thought to download that for some reason. mateo and the track from orchid tapes' boring ecstacy comp might be the only two songs i've listened to of hers.

speaking of orchid tapes, i'm pretty sure anything on the label's bandcamp is name your price. for anyone not familiar: really great label partially ran by warren hildebrand (foxes in fiction); another super sweet person. lots of cool stuff

So sad, a bunch of good artists I wish I could pimp out charge for their music now theres one who still includes the namr your price option, but ive already mentioned him in a few other threads and it would seem redundant. Love the bandcamp site though.

I have actually never even selected the "name your price" option, I'm just worried that'll make people feel obligated to give me something when all I want is for people to listen. Just the fact that you listened/want to listen is a good enough gift to me.

Orchid Tapes is great if not only for giving me The Bilinda Butchers' album for free

**** yeah, Yohuna is the ****. Definitely check out her four-way split EP with Emily Reo, Brown Bread, and MoonLasso, too. She also has a song on The Le Sigh's first comp. Orchid Tapes and The Le Sigh are both on fire these days.

This.

He's one of my favorite musicians. I saw him live too. Great stuff.

It's like the whole premise of quoteunquoterecords from Jeff Rosenstock.

It's not super new, but this band is brilliant, so emotional and powerful. Beautiful instrumental work too.
told slant's great. i've never heard of cottontail before, but i like what i've streamed from the bandcamp so far.

i really dug reo's olive juice. don't think i've ever listened to brown bread or moonlasso; i'll have to check it out.

le sigh's cool. i've never listened to any of the comps though, just read the blogs a few times, and i think i only learned about it because a pal composed an 8tracks mix for them sometime in 2013 (or maybe i just stumbled on it after the fact). the tracklist for the first comp looks rad, lots of cool artists and a handful i'm not familiar with.

thanks for the info!

edit: loving moonlasso

RL Kelly is also pretty sweet. More sad guitar stuff, with some electronics thrown in.
