There are some cool coincidences but it wasn't intentional.

Ya, Alan Parsons said they didn't even have to technology available in the studio to be able to do it. There's plenty of clips of them recording bots of DSOTM and there's no video players in sight.

The versions I've been linking in this thread keep disappearing. Here's a version that's managed to survive on Youtube for 8 years so hopefully it'll stay there.

It really starts at the 1:10 mark.
