Default Websites to Rate Music and Receive Recommendations?

Hopefully this thread does not turn into a spamming thread. However, I am looking for a website where I can rate songs/albums/bands and the website will, in turn, recommend new music for me to check out based on my results. For movies, Criticker works great for this, and Netflix did when I used it.

There must be a few music websites for this? Which ones are the best? Any that you guys use actively to supplement this website?

You should try Rateyourmusic. There's a link in my signature.

Thank you! Rateyourmusic is the first one I was looking at. Do most people rate just the albums, or each song as well? I am finding it far more difficult to rate individual songs than movies.

You were probably the only person you got with that joke. I highly doubt anyone ever clicks on anyone else's sig.

I typically just rate albums.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.
