Theme Bands (lyrics, show, songs, Hang)

has anyone here ever been in a theme band? my paw was in a winter themed one called Wotan, named for the teutonic god of winter. it was okay.

ive never been in a themed band, but we did play dressed up as superheros at a halloween show one year, that was really fun. Originally we wanted to rent chicken costumes and play and change all of our songs to have poultry based lyrics, but decided it was going to be too hard (and hot) to play a 45min set in them, so we went with superheros and kept our songs the same except we all spoke in superhero voices all night saying things like "Holy Smoke Batman" and "ooh my senses are tingling after that one"

I've not personally in one. But at a gig the Where With Alls all dressed as trees and handed out twigs and such...does that count? They also played a song which went, "We love trees, yes we do. Oh, we love trees. God, trees...yeah, they're great. Like you. But we love trees..." Hmm...
