At least I might bust a nut with the actual Joy Division. That's more than I can say for the band.

I would agree that most of your music listed is kinda boring, except joy division, and maybe a few songs by dinosaur Jr. But you shouldn't stop listening because other people don't like it. Besides my one friend who likes a lot of the same music I do, I've been told by a lot of people I know that my music depresses them (like when I played Atmosphere by Joy Division on the jukebox at a bar patronized by rednecks).

I once played "Computer Love" by Kraftwerk at a bar and got much the reaction that you might expect. **** 'em.

Yeah, I've had arguments with patrons as well as staff who told me I should be more considerate and play music they would like. I'm like "you think I want to listen to Jason Aldean all F-ing night? I don't, but I don't bitch because it's your money... If my dollar goes toward something I like, deal with it." I managed to avoid a severe beating in the parking lot that night...

I think I just didn't remember how it sounded. I knew that Kraftwerk wasn't exactly your average music fan's idea of fun, but it had been a few years since I had listened to Kraftwerk and I think I was assuming it would sound more like "Das Model". Of course I also had not listened to that song in a number of years...

Looking back now it's funny how awkward I made the entire bar, including my douchebag juggalo friends who erroneously considered themselves open-minded. Deer in the headlights.

I've had many juggalo friends, but honestly, aren't they just the worst?
