It happens all the time: your girlfriend (for whatever reason) is enamored with whatever band, so you have to temporarily pretend to like them (because you're soft like that). But then comes the nasty break-up, and you move from potential apathy to hatred...
I can't stand the Smashing Pumpkins (theoretically... I still enjoy their music at times) because of my ex. I especially don't like Billy "despite-all-my-****ing-rage-I-am-still-just-a-****ing-rat-in-a-****ing-cage" Corgan. He's bald. There's probably something wrong with me for thinking this way.
