November 2017: Johnny Dowd, opening for Pere Ubu. Both acts are musical outsiders but come at it differently. It was a great night of music.

On edit: November 2017, not 2007. F***ing fat fingers.

One of the best opening acts I saw was Steve Morse who opened for Joe Satriani. I won two tickets to see Joe Satriani play. I gave the other ticket to my dad. I didn't know Steve Morse was opening for Satch so it we was a bit of surprise for me and my dad who is a fan of Steve Morse. Joe was good, but I thought it was a dirty trick that he had Steve Morse play at half the volume he (Joe) played at. At the end of the concert everyone said that Steve was the better act, and maybe that's why Satch put Steve at half the volume level so no one would notice. It was great fun and obviously the crowd was like 95% guitar players geeking out on their guitar heroes. Good times.

The KVB has keyboard, vocals, and bass. I wonder if that's how they got their name. (haven't seen them in concert tho)
