OK, firstly please take note: this is a discussion thread only, prior to the setting up of the actual thread. It can be used for questions, comments, suggestions, whatever, and I assume after the actual thread is opened all conversations will take place there, as before, but for now, this is a sort of pre-thread, as it were.

For any who are not familiar with my original thread, the premise is stupidly simple: I asked people to recommend (rec) albums to me, I listened to them and reported back on whether I Loved, Hated or was just Meh about them. It was very successful, but I can't go back to that.

So, instead the new thread will be for tracks only. Again the basic rules apply: any genre, any album, as long as I have not heard it before. I will be allowing people to submit up to ten tracks at a time - can be all at once or spread over a few posts, up to you - after which they cannot submit more until their original selection has been dealt with. Only one track from any one album, so if you see someone has recced something from an album you were about to rec, don't bother, as I'll just tell you I've already heard it (unless it's wildly different to the one I listened to, in which instance you can make your case). Final decision will always be mine.

Just because these are tracks and not albums, don't assume I'll be doing ten or twenty a day, or even a week. I won't. I'll get through them as I can, and as usual it will be first come, first served, so if you want to get your recs listened to early then be among the first to post them.

Do Not place any recs in this thread! They will be ignored. This is not a thread for recs, just discussion, and anyone who ignores this and goes ahead placing recs can't expect to have them transferred to the new thread when it opens, as this will not happen.

It'll probably take a while to get it all under way, so for now feel free to ask any questions, make suggestions (for the thread, not recs) or just basically talk about it here.
