Post Best Lyrical Albums

I am looking for suggestions for new albums to listen to that put a focus on poetry and musical storytelling. I am open to all genres of music from all time periods, but I’m interested in artists that specifically take a lyric-first approach to songwriting. I’ve made a list of some of my favorites to get things started.

(I also limited myself to only one album each from Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen because their albums could make up an entire list like this by themselves)

Bringing It All Back Home Again - Bob Dylan
Songs of Leonard Cohen - Leonard Cohen
Greetings From Asbury Park - Bruce Springsteen
Kristofferson - Kris Kristofferson
John Prine - John Prine
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Thyme - Simon & Garfunkel
I’m Wide Awake, It’s Morning - Bright Eyes
Love, Ire, & Song - Frank Turner
Southeastern - Jason Isbell
The Historical Conquests of Josh Ritter - Josh Ritter

If you have any really great lyricists or great lyrical albums, I would love to listen to them!
