I never liked that song until i heard Trixter's version (thats right,TRIXTER,the hair band from 1990!) I didnt like the Goo Goo Dolls' version though,even though i LOVE the GGD's.

Although, the name of this thread is misleading.
I bet there are at least 6 or 7 other people in the world who like Evanescence and They might be Giants.

Very few of my friends like any bands that I like. But that's mostly because few people you meet are REALLY into music and dedicated enough to actually have a real opinion. Who else has found this?

I think it's a general problem these days caused by the fact that the most recent brands of highly commercialized over-produced pop dominate the charts and the airwaves SO much, that most people have no regular medium of naturally hearing anything beyond that without having to seek.

i always catch hell from my friends for my classic rock music. steve miller band, ccr, foghat, cream, kiss, the eagles, boston.....
