Default Music references in video games

I was playing Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas the other day on my PS2 and noticed one of the districts is called Idlewood. Its developers, Rockstar North, are Scottish, plus it's a fictional name, which makes me wonder if they named it in tribute to the Scottish indie band Idlewild. Both Rockstar North and Idlewild are based in Edinburgh, and Idlewild are pretty popular in Scotland, even if not elsewhere.

Can anyone else think of some possible references to artists in video games?

One of the bosses in Zelda: A Link to the Past is named Merzbow.

One of the quests in Skyrim is named "Master of Puppets".

In the first Tomb Raider, Lara Croft's tits were actually Judas Priest CDs stuffed into a bra.

If you read the list of teachers in the reception of Midwich Elementary School in the original Silent Hill game, it says «Gordon, Ranaldo, Moore». Later you attain a key with a name tag that says «K. Gordon».

The Japanese fighting game Guilty Gear is loaded with band references.
One character looks like Axl Rose and is named "Axl Low". One character is named Zappa. Another Ky Kiske (after Michael Kiske?). A spirit possessing a character is named "Angra" (Like that South American power metal band). Some more could be references to music I don't know. Most notably, the character I-No often plays part of the solo from Ozzy's Mr. Crowley when she wins a round.

Wasn't Idlewild the name of JFK airport before, you know, they renamed it? Back in the fifties or so?

Well yeah, it has a meaning other than the name of a band, but GTA SA isn't set in NY, and the developers are Scottish, so it may well be a reference, especially since they've admitted to including "Scottish references" in each game (one of the bridges also looks like the original Forth Road Bridge).
