One big rock rumour of the 70s involved Rod Stewart, after suposedly falling victim to achohol poisoning Stewart was rushed to a hospital to have his stomach pumped, according to the myth what they found was a real shock, several pints of semen in his stomach...Stewart denys this of course...Other rock stars who have been rumoured to have this kind of medical emergency include Alanis Morrisette, Elton John, David Bowie, David Lee Roth, Jon Bon Jovi, Lil Kim, Britney Spears and every member of The Bay City Rollers.

Frank Zappa never used drugs and forbid anyone in his band to use them. It baffles me that a man can make music that brilliant and twisted without the aid of the wacky tobacky.

Not a story as such but I loved this quote from Ian Brown on being asked if the Stone Roses would ever get back together......
John Squire wants us to get back together? I bet he does. The only glory he ever had was when he stood next to me.If I`d had his crap career maybe I`d want to get back together as well.He`s not called me in 9 years , not once.And thats probably because he knows my destiny lies somewhere else.
