I need help in finding out wether DeadPoetic and Silverstien are Emo or not, i think they are more hardcore, but i dunno .....

Silverstien id say is screamo for sure...
Deadpoetic sounds emo, they arent really that hardcore, but i dunno if their lyrics are emo....

Well new silverstein is screamo but their first album Summers Stellar Gaze is definatley emo...thank you canada!!!!!! As for DP yea I dont think anything that comes out of Tooth and Nail can be called hardcore I mean Slow Coming Day,238,Further Seems Forever,The Juliana Theory, Pedro the Lions, ( early stuff) and on and on but never a hardcore band. Either way both bands are supercal....eh hell with it they both kick ass

Wouldn't classify them as emo or screamo. Listen to Saetia they're real screamo.
If I had to classify them in a genre it would probably be MTV emo. |
