Good screamo bands (dancing, volume, songs)

riseagainstrocks=ian

he's one of my best friends and neighbor, so its easier to call him ian so he knows im addressing him specifically as opposed to everyone on here.

he has a really good taste in music and is very educated in alot of genres, but I feel that he's a little...not bias but...he has a grudge against alot of music that I like, even though I think theyr some of my favorite bands (i.e.-taking back sunday,thursday, chiodos).

Because their is no difference between bands called screamo and bands commonly called emo, it's really a useless term. It's like people that use the term emo violence, it's laughable.

I may be wrong but when someone says emo, I think of bands like Jets To Brazil, Jimmy Eat World, Sunny Day Real Estate, but when people say screamo I think of Hot Cross, Circle Takes The Square, Saetia ect.

Indian Summer is screamo. Well, at least they scream alot, which qualifys them in my book. Emo is just synonomous with Indie-Emo to me. I guess some people call it post emo. That is just what I think of, I am not saying I am completely right.

i think Jimmy is straight up Rock, not emo though.

is Circle Takes the Square really as good as everyone on here is making them out to be?(possibly stupid question, eh, at least i can admit it)

As The Roots Undo = amazing album. Circle Takes The Square is like one of my favorite bands ever theyre really good. Old Jimmy Eat World is post-emo (check out clarity).
