ahh, see this is funny. i get crap because i tell a few kids that bands like thrice arent emo and i get ripped a new one. so i make a stretch and reccomend a band that may not be "emo" and i am crazy as the smilie would infer.
no, they arent emo. however they are about as emo as any of the other junk that most people on this board listen to (sorry to generalize for those of you that like good music) it seems quite hypocritical for people to say things about me being stern about a genre of music when the same thing happens not a day or two later. |

^ damn, lighten up. do you always get this upset about an emoticon? so the guy doesn't think that that band is emo, explain to him why you think it is, like we've all been doing for months before you joined. stating that you're sick of hearing the same bands all the time right after you joined, then telling everyone that their music preference is crap after someone disagrees with you, isn't exactly the best way to start out. but hey, if you don't like having any of your posts taken seriously, then by all means continue
